Collection: Geisha scissors

Why invest in Geisha scissors? (And not in a cheap alternative)

Geisha scissors have been my absolute favorite in my grooming salon for years. I'm often asked, "Can't I just order a cheap pair of scissors for a few tens of euros online?" Of course you can, but there's a world of difference between budget scissors and Geisha quality.

This is why a good pair of scissors is more than worth the investment, especially if you're doing the work yourself at home:

The difference between 'cutting' and 'pulling'

Cheap scissors are often made of softer steel. They seem sharp at first, but they dull incredibly quickly. Dull scissors no longer cut the hair cleanly, but instead "fold" or pull it. This is not only frustrating for you, but also very annoying (and sometimes even painful) for your dog. Geisha scissors are made of high-quality Japanese steel that stays razor-sharp for a very long time and glides effortlessly through thick fur.
