The one-on-one coaching ensures optimal results. Behavior on the table is the common thread throughout this entire Masterclass process.

Day 1 Duration: 1.5 hours Brush technique and table manners
Part 2 Duration: 1.5 hours Wash and dry properly, prepare for trimming.
Part 3 Duration: 2.5 hours After you have thoroughly washed and dried the coat the day before, we will start in this phase by clipping the doodle head, tail and bear paws. The sanitary trim and the nails are also not forgotten.
Part 4 Duration: 3 hours. After thoroughly washing and drying the coat the day before and doing all the clipping as instructed, we'll get started with clippers and attachment combs. We'll groom your doodle. You can follow this entire process after your doodle has been to a grooming salon at least once.
The duration of the appointment depends on your doodle's behavior on the table and whether you have a spot available at a grooming salon. We'll be in touch to discuss this further.

Workshop 1 | Daily Care
I've designed this workshop specifically for every doodle pup and their owners. In this 90-minute session, I'll tell you everything you can expect in your doodle's life. This includes coat and grooming, of course, but table manners are also very important. What will you cover in this workshop? Here are a few things you'll cover:
- How do I brush?
- Which brush do I use for this?
- Should I start with the coat blazer yet?
- How often can I wash?
- How do tangles form?
- Coat change; what is it?
- What do I need for coat care?
- Brushing while lying down
Don't buy too much yet; I'll advise you on the materials you'll need during the workshop. Be sure to bring a coat blazer when your doodle gets home, and pick up a few green Activet or Flexit, available here in the webshop.
This is a primarily informative workshop. I'll also show you how to gradually train your Doodle in table manners, as well as how to groom, clean eyes, and trim paw pads.

Workshop 2 | Coat Care
The foundation of a beautiful, healthy coat is proper care. A well-groomed coat will shine, feel soft, and have few to no tangles. This is great for your Doodle, as tangles and matting are painful. Understanding how tangles form can help you prevent them. This is especially difficult during shedding.
When can I attend this workshop?
This workshop is quite intensive and requires the full 3 hours. So please ensure your coat is tangle-free before the workshop begins.
You can take this workshop when your Doodle is 9 or 10 months old, as this is the early stages of coat shedding. However, your Doodle must have proper table manners. The coat should be tangle-free or at least nearly tangle-free by the time of the workshop. If not, most of our time will be spent brushing out tangles, not grooming them. This is a waste of our time and your money.
Of course, you can also take workshops if your doodle is a bit older. The advantage is that you both already have some experience, which definitely helps.
What are we going to do?
First, we'll examine the coat together. If I determine it's too matted or even felted, I'll have to cancel the workshop, and then we'll discuss your needs and my advice. There are costs involved. These may include trimming the coat, the hourly rate, and any additional expenses. If you choose to do this yourself or have it done elsewhere, I'll have to charge compensation for lost earnings.
Once the coat looks good, we'll wash and dry your doodle properly: using the right products and the right technique. During this workshop, I'll also look at your doodle's table behavior. If needed, I can provide you with advice. If you have a particularly difficult doodle, come by first for a grooming and table manners session. This allows me to observe your doodle's behavior, and we can work together to improve it before you move on to the coat care workshop.
We'll start by trimming the head to your desired look, which complements the coat. We'll trim the paws to the familiar bear paw and provide a sanitary trim. We'll also take care of the tail. After this workshop, you'll be able to ensure your doodle always looks neat and tangle-free between grooming sessions.
Important for this workshop, and for the "Groom Your Own Doodle" workshop, is that your doodle is used to the coat blower and that you have one at home. I also recommend a grooming table or something similar.
Costs € 325.00

Workshop 3 | Trim your own doodle
This workshop is only available after you've completed the valuable workshop #2. This is the foundation for a well-trimmed coat.
How wonderful would it be to be able to groom your own Doodle in your own home, whenever it suits you? Never having to pay for a grooming session again, just groom them the way you like them, and not having to rely on your groomer's skills or abilities.
I can teach you. Using clippers with attachment combs and scissors, we'll work together in this third workshop. You must have completed the "coat care" workshop before you can take the "trim your own doodle" workshop. You'll have done the coat care at home the day before, as we learned in the "coat care" workshop, including the clipping part we discussed there. We'll go over anything that doesn't work out another time. But at least give it a try; it's just hair. It will grow back.
What are we going to do?
First, I'll check if your coat is groomed. So, it's thoroughly brushed, washed, and dried. If I can easily get through it with the rake, then we can start grooming. I'll check the clipping we practiced in the "coat care" workshop. If it's still not good enough, we'll go over it again.
Then we will determine the right length that suits your life, time, coat condition, etc.
We'll use clippers with attachment combs to shorten the body to the desired length, and the legs as well. We'll finish the trim with scissors. We'll also trim the legs partially, in case the clippers don't work at home.
I'll teach you the basics of grooming, then you'll have to practice at home. It will get better each time.
*In the private Facebook group, you can find videos about grooming, and you can also ask questions there. You can also do this via WhatsApp and video calling. So feel free to ask me any questions you have if you run into any problems.
Costs € 325.00
* All workshops have been compiled for you in a reference work for home use
Do you need to purchase anything else?
During the workshops, you can use the products and materials I have available in the salon. You can try out everything that feels right for you. Not every pair of scissors is made for every hand. You'll have to figure this out yourself, but I can certainly help you get started and provide advice during the workshops. Various scissors and products are available for sale in the salon and in the webshop.
I use the Heiniger Opal and Heiniger Saphir Basic clippers with Oster attachment combs. I recommend the Saphir Basic for home use. If you're planning to attend this workshop, start looking, as they're often sold out. Google "Heiniger Saphir Basic" and you'll see the available options. If you're interested in a corded clipper, I can purchase one for you. For small doodles with fleece coats, I have another clipper option. We'll discuss this during the workshops.
All in all, quite an expense, that's true. But you'll earn it back in time. If you assume at least 6 trims per year, you're quickly talking about
€700.00 per year.
First-year plan 2.0
Please note: The annual plan is temporarily unavailable for booking in 2026. Option: Purchase the online course plan and then book a one-on-one workshop at the spa.
In addition to the three workshops and individual training sessions, I also offer a first-year plan. Each month, I take the Doodle pup and its owner step-by-step through teaching them things like table manners, daily grooming, and coat care. After evaluation and consultation with former students and clients, I've adjusted the plan slightly, as described below.
First-year plan 2.0
- 10 Weeks Introducing Your Puppy to Buddha's Doodle Spa (15 Minutes)
- 3-month Workshop 1 "Daily Care" (1 hour) I'll tell you and demonstrate everything you can expect in the coming weeks and months, and what you can start practicing at home. This will help your doodle learn good table manners and ensure a pleasant working relationship between you and your doodle.
- 4 Months: Wash and Dry Acclimation Session (1 hour) I'll wash and dry your Doodle, trim its eyes, and give it a sanitary trim. Its paws will also be made non-slip. I'll check on your puppy and discuss any areas for improvement.
- 5 months of Table Manners (1 hour) is such an important part that I added this appointment after consultation with former students
- 6 months First grooming session (2.5 hours) Your Doodle will arrive tangle-free and brushed out, and your Doodle will be washed, dried, and its puppy coat removed (i.e., groomed). I'll also share any improvements you might need so you can practice at home.
- 7 months Brush hour (1 hour) We'll practice the brush technique together on your doodle. This is also a good time to ask any questions you might have about anything you're both struggling with.
- 8 months Second grooming session and wash and dry technique (2.5 hours) Your doodle will be brought back tangle-free and brushed, and we'll wash and dry your doodle together. Then I'll groom your doodle.
- 9 Months Workshop 2, Step 1 Grooming (2 hours) You've washed and dried your Doodle the day before, as you learned last time. The coat will then be tangle-free and completely fluffy. We'll trim the Doodle's head and paws, the tail, and the nails, as well as the grooming trim.
- If you proceed to workshop 3, step 2, "Trim Your Own Doodle," you will complete workshop 2 at home one day in advance. This will allow us plenty of time to answer questions during this workshop and focus on trimming.
Costs
All this together requires an investment
from €995.00 *
*when paying in one go
If you prefer to pay in 4 installments (for the first 4 appointments), you pay €275.00 for the first appointment and the other three payments will be €250.00 each.
NOT INCLUDED :
- To learn how to trim your own doodle, you can choose during the first-year plan 2.0 whether this is something you'd like to learn. This workshop is not included in the first-year plan. The normal cost for this workshop is €325.00. After completing the first-year plan, I can offer it for €295.00.
- Workshop 3 "Trim Your Own Doodle" (3 hours) Make sure you've washed and dried your doodle the day before, and done everything we practiced in workshop 2. On the day of workshop 3, we'll go through this again together, and then trim your doodle with scissors and clippers with attachment combs.
- After this workshop you can participate in the closed Facebook group where I post videos and tips to help you further at home.
This yearly plan is super fun to follow for you and your doodle, and it's beneficial for your connection. Be aware, however, that it won't be easy. You'll need to practice a lot, and I do expect commitment from both you and your doodle. If you don't practice at home and think you can just breeze through it, you're wrong, and we're not the right fit. Then you'll need to find a groomer who's willing to groom your doodle for you. I'll give you 200%, but I expect the same from you. Ultimately, you'll have to do it yourself.
Below is a list of items you will need to purchase for your home, which are also available in my shop.
- Fur blower . The advantage of the fur blower, which I also use myself, is that you can expand it into a stand-alone, mobile hair dryer, which is almost essential and super handy for drying. It also makes less noise than other fur blowers and has a long hose. *Necessary from the moment your doodle arrives at your home. Note: Not every blower fits on a tripod.
- Some green Activet or Flexit . Don't be fooled by advice about other colors or brands. I've tested most of them, and they're not good for the coat. *Necessary from 4 months.
- A soft brush (or an old one of your own) to practice with until about 4 or 5 months old. *Necessary from the beginning
- Grooming table . Or a yoga mat on a sturdy table
For later:
Hair clipper with attachment combs . Available online. Do a price check and start searching. I personally use the Heiniger Opal and Heiniger Saphir Basic; the basic one with one battery is perfect for home use. You can also opt for a corded hair clipper, which I can order for you. The attachment combs must be compatible with the snap-on shaving head. *Required if you have attended the "Trim Your Own Doodle" workshop.
You can try out scissors and all other practical products that we will use during this entire plan in the salon and possibly purchase them in the salon or via the webshop.
* All workshops have been compiled for you in a reference work for home use
Training 1 | Table Manners
Almost every doodle owner knows how difficult it can be to keep your doodle calm on the table during grooming, such as brushing and drying. Snapping at the brush, not being allowed to brush its paws, you name it. If you, as an owner, can't handle this, hours of grooming will be very unpleasant for both you and your doodle.
What are we going to do?
In the "Table Manners" training, I'll initially help you, in an hour, identify the problem, practice, and provide tips and tricks to use at home so your doodle learns how to do it right along with you.
Costs €85.00
Training 2 | Brushing
Is your Doodle constantly tangled and you have no idea why? Does it constantly need to be trimmed or shaved, even though you'd prefer a Doodle with longer fur? Then book a grooming session.
What are we going to do?
You bring your own brushes and combs so I can check if you have the right tools
Well used. Then we'll examine the coat together and practice brushing.
How do you brush, with which brushes and combs, and why? I also look at how the interaction
between you and your doodle, if necessary I can help you with your behavior within this hour

products and tools.

Training 3 | Doodle Head Cutting
Do you groom your Doodle yourself, but still can't seem to get that beautiful little face? Or is the time between groomings—at a grooming salon—just right, but the face quickly grows too long, and you're not sure how to cut it? I can help you with that.
What are we going to do?
In this approximately one-hour training session, we'll work with your doodle to accentuate that beautiful face just as a doodle should be. You can try out the scissors with me and purchase them, or you can bring your own tools.
You'll need to make sure the head is washed, dried, and tangle-free, and then we'll get started. A reference book with text and photos is ready for you to take home so you can review everything and use it when you get started yourself.
Costs €85.00
Training 4 | Refresher Training
Once you have completed a workshop or the first-year plan at Buddha's Doodle Spa, you will start practicing at home.
But after a while you still find that you are not doing something completely the way you want, such as
If you still find trimming the head or trimming the bear's paws difficult, you can schedule a follow-up appointment.
What are we going to do?
When you contact me we will discuss what you would like to discuss again.

You will wash, dry and detangle your doodle at home a day in advance (not earlier).
